A Whole year Of Lenore!

The day comes...One year ago today...I was writing my very first post here on Blogspot. I feel like I've changed so much over just 365 days...but I guess thats just what happens, huh?

Over this year, I've had so much fun blogging...and I can't wait to see how my blog changes in the years to come :)

Remember this old photography?

I want to thank all my lovely followers, anyone who reads or comments on my blog, and all my blogger all mean the world to me!

Over this year so much has changed about me...

-I fell for a certain Him and got over it soon after :p

-I Made a new best friend while I stayed close to all my old friends as well

-I realized how many memories remain in my heart

-I found a new love for film-making, photography, and writing

-I became a stronger person through all my struggles

And soooo much more!

I also must mention how this blog helped me change as well...
I think it helped me see a different side of life...through everyone elses blog and my own, I've been able to see the magic and fun in the tiny little things in life...All the tiny bits and pieces that make up the big picture...and the way Blogspot connects us all! I mean, just think...we all have one thing in blog. To show the rest of the world what's in our minds...and by having that one thing in common in brings us all together.

I'm so glad I decided to start blogging. I just hope and pray that everyday I can make someone smile. I hope that everyday i can warm someone's heart.
And, for the final thing I'll leave you with...I'll post a link to my very first post. Can you see how I've changed? :)

I love you all so much...and I hope I've made a difference in your lives somehow....

Happy Birthday to my blog :) Have a great week!

Photography and Fun!

Hello everyone! I've been quite busy lately...but I decided to post these photos I took one weekend when I was feeling extra creative :)

I basically wrote little inpirational quotes on pieces of paper and put them all over different places in which I think they would look nice.

Also, I've fallen in LOVE with A Fine Frenzy. She is absolutley amazing...her music is just so touching and her voice is just...beautiful!

watch both videos....somehow it can take me back to soooo many dreamy places in my mind.

Oh! And all my lovely followers and blogger friends...I'd LOVE for you all to tell me what you'd like me to post about more. If there's anything you wanna see more on my blog, anything you'd like me to add to my blog, music, stories, small inspirational things, or just something random, you can comment...or email me at :DD

well darlings, have a great day!

And I Watched The Night Come Over My Head...

The velvet sky swallows me up as I sleep...
And takes me to the places I see in my dreams.

This Is Halloween

Happy Halloween dears!!! :)

I have a fun day planned ahead of me...I'm having some close friends over, where we will trick or treat then stay up late watching scary movies!

My Costume is pretty average...all the things I wanted to dress up as basically showed wayy too much skin (Does anyone else feel how annoying this is...No one wears clothes anymore!!)

So...since I am a good girl ;) I decided to just gather up a bunch of things I have here at home and make a costume!

1. Funeral Veil from Hot topic
2. My Lolita dress
3. A Lace arm-warmer
4. mary-jane ballet flats
5. Lots of dark makeup

I haven't quite thought of a name...but I suppose if someone asks me, I could say a Widow...Or someone at a funeral? haha

Oh! I have also made a halloween playlist for me and my friends to listen to as we munch on candy :D

So this is a little gift to you! I've added lots of stuff from The Nightmare Before Christmas, a bit from an anime show I Like (Vamire Knight rocks!!) and the main theme for The Corpse Bride (which is also the main song on my blog)

So, tell me what YOU are doing on this fine halloween day?!

Fairytales...My Reality

Fairytales in a Different way, a Genius Indeed

Tim Burton.

I idolize him. I want to be a director one day...and his works make me dream in ways I could never imagine.

For my Tech Theater class, we have to do a project on a job we would want in Theater...I would've chosen actor. But instead I decided to choose Director. So we had to choose a famous director to use as an example in the of course, it had to be Tim Burton.

Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory (2005), The Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd, and (soon to be!) Alice In Wonderland...are only a few of his masterpieces.

Each one of these works has inspired me, and let me see the world in a different way. He creates fairytales in a completely unlikely way

Of course a story about a gentle man, with scissors for hands who falls in love with a normal girl and ends up destroying things without meaning to, is not your every-day-fairytale. But it's still a fairytale, and it's still beautiful.

His facination with misunderstood, lonely characters breaks my heart in all his movies...happy or sad ending.

His haunting music and unforgettable scenes make his movies simply magical.

The way that his mind works is unlike ANYONE else which makes him just so special to me...Thank you Mr. Burton, for changing my life in the simplest ways.

One of the most beautiful scenes I have EVER seen in any movie.
It melts my heart and makes me feel as if part of me is in another world...

This is Tim Burton's first ever stop motion animation, and in fact, his first project EVER!
I love it with a passion as it is somehow very artistic, and of course has alot to do with Edgar Allan Poe.
It just shows how wild a child's mind is. How everything is just so big. And at the same time,
another strange character, which I love :)

So tell me who inspires you so very much!

Fly Away With Me
