Yes, I have Returned...

I'M BACK! yes, here I am darlings!

My absence was due to the horrible nightmare known as School...and many other things :p but now that I've settled in and its not really so nightmarish anymore, I'm glad to be back :D

So, with a new school year, comes a new schedule...and mine is very interesting indeed!

1. Language Arts
2. Advanced Drama
3. Math
4. Science
5. French
6. Once Apon A Time*
7. Social Staudies
8. Tech Theater II

*once apon a time is a class ALL about fairytales, and different authors and versions of fairytales :) Amazing, right?

No cute guys this year...but some very interesting people. 8th frade is scary...so many labels, so much peer preessure, so many people doing things that make me look way too innocent. It's scary for sure.

But I suppose this is what 8th grade is all about...hook-ups, break-ups, friends, pressure, tears...like one of those cheesy teen drama shows! But without those things we wouldn't have the smiles afterwards...so I'm glad :)

Also, for the new school year...I've been adding stuff to my room...lots of stuff! My bulliten board is so full now! Remember when I first posted about it? It barely had anything on it! Now, I can't find any room to put new pictures on :D Oh, and now my walls have loads of new posters on them!

and now since I must leave you...I have some homework to do...I'll leave you with a little gift:

NeverShoutNever is an unsigned artist who is simply AMAZING! His music has a very sweet feel to it and he's all about living free and being happy :) This video can turn any bad day into the best day ever! Because...you're only as tall as your heart will let you be, and only as small as the world will make you seem...make everyday count darlings!!!

so, tell me how this new school year has been going for you!

(by the way, be sure to keep up with me on twitter!! http://twitter.com/Lenore_lolita)

And the Sky was a Thousand Colors

(Thanks Bri)

Bri slept over again...except this time...we hardly slept. We stayed up all night long...blogging, listening to music....then I looked out the window, and the sky had changed from a dark velvet to a cloudy, almost violet, grey. The sun was rising :)

Brianna took most of the photos...while I watched the sky change to Orange and Pink and Light blue in between.

As I walked out my bedroom door, Bri asked

"won't your mom get mad?!"
I replied

"haha...I dont know...probably"

It was a chance I was willing to take

I tip-toed out the front door and quietly ran down to the sidewalk. I sat down on the edge of the sidewalk and watched the sky. I quitely sang Moon River to myself.

I ran back upstairs and into my bedroom. I jumped beneath the covers and brianna found my "things to get lost to" playlist.

Drifted off to sleep at 6 am to the beautiful melody of a lullabye...and the image of the sunrise still in my mind

Swing Music and Perfume

The young girl semi skipped around her room as she got ready. She felt too happy in her brand new dress that she saved up for...all her money.

Frank Sinatra was singing to her straight from her old stereo, she sang along as she put on some blush.

She sprayed on some of her Harajuku Lovers perfume and put on some her her favorite Hello Kitty lip gloss.

She put on her heart neckalace that she adored
and She put her keys into her vintage-looking purse she got from Kohl's for 7 dollars.

she took one last look in the mirror and walked out the door.

Boston-day 2

Finally, the long awaited Boston day 2 post!!

Once again, I woke up to the sounds and sights of the city!! With all the buildings and opens skys filled with possibilities!

Today, we went for brunch at this resteraunt...but I cannot seem to remember the name....It was fabulous and very old fashioned in a small little brick building!!

But, while we had to wait to get seated...we stopped by Johnny Cupcakes. I reccomend this shop to anyone who loves cupcakes...well cupcake clothing! The whole shop, was Shirts with cupcakes on them folded up on trays in fake ovens and freezers...as if they were cupcakes!

The story behind this awesome place, is a college boy named Johnny, who was bored and started making shirts with cupcakes on them. Everyone on campus LOVED them, so he sold them. Later, he started a shop: Johnny Cupcakes. Quite a lovely place

so, after a got a shirt that said "Boston" with icing and sprinkles on it...we went back into the resteraunt to enjoy a fantastic brunch!

After that, we simply walked around the beautiful city...We went on the subway!!! and we went shopping at Urban Outfitters (I love the many things you can fiind there) I bought a lovely dress

After walking around EVEN more...we found some interesting street shows! We then walked through a place with so much food, you could nit imagine.

then finally, we saw the harbour. AMAZING!!! Blue water...and on the other side...more building!! If I did live in Boston...I would walk there with my music each day :)
That night, we saw the Blue Man Group!! Amazing, I cant even begin to explain, just awesome music, comedy and unusual stunts...in a small little theater you find in the alley ways like the movies!!! I reccomend this show to EVERYONE. Most amazing show you will see...but I'll warn you, dont get dressed up, Its messy ;)

After the Fantastical show...we walked around China Town, which I thought was amazing! Untill we finally found a great chienese place (out of china town though, haha) and we enjoyed it vey much!

On the way home...I cherished the lights and noises of the beautiful city, because I knew, that would be my last night there...

ahhhhh...memories <3

Being Indie and loving everything!!

"There's a house across the river but alas I cannot swimAnd a garden of such beauty that the flowers seem to grinThere's a house across the river but alas I cannot swimI'll live my life regretting that I never jumped in"

-Alas I Cannot Swim (by Laura Marling)

one of the many songs I listened to while having my little frenzy of listening to lovely, unique guitar music in my garage :)

oh, what an Indie day I had! First I woke up and watched Nick And Norah's Infinite Playlist. Loved it!!! My fave was Norah's best friend, Caroline as well as the dudes in the van, especially the asian one (forgot his name...hehe)

then i had to clean up my room, whic took forever :P

then, I had my friend Samantha over (she lives in my neighborhood) and we ate Cheerios and Ramen Noodles while watching family guy

After she left, i cleaned out my drawer and gathered up my stuff and went to my garage and danced around to Laura Marling, Noah And The Whale, and Lenka
Then me, my mom, and my brother walked to this Mexican place by my house and had a lovely dinner :)
I must say it was a fantastic end to a fantastic weekend, especially after seeing Fall Out Boy on friday!! We drove 3 hours and the concert was amazing! I really rocked out, and I think Pete Wentz looked at me once or twice when I jumped on top of this seat and screamed. haha
I seriously cried when they came on stage, it was a dream come true.
well, i must go get ready for bed now, so I'll leave you with some pictures of my scrap book and my bulliten board, just a couple of the things that inspire me :)

ps- Boston-Day 2 will be the next post!! <3

Boston-day 1

After arriving, the flight attendant helped me to find Minnie (my moms friend who i was taying with) after we got my suitcase from baggage claim, we were off to catch a cab. I will never for get that taxi ride. thye whole time, all I could say was "omigosh!! Lights, Buildings...!!" It was especially beautiful to ride on a bridge and see all the builiding from afar and all the tiny little lights, just like in the movies! After getting to her apartment (which was lovely!) i took a shower, and made a nice bowl of hot ramen noodles while watching CSI. My bedroom had an amazing view, and I fell asleep with city lights illuminating the tiny room.

day 1

waking up was beautiful because i wasn't in my own room, I woke up to see a sunny morning with a real city outside. I had a lovely breakfast (Minnie's ommelettes are amazing!) then spent the morning getting dressed, and taking pictures and recording footage out my window.

outside my window

we decided to spend the day walking around the city and going shopping at HnM. The city was beautiful and filled with all sorts of people. We stopped by an old Church that was so beautiful. It was built probably a hundred years ago and had amazing acultures and courtyards.

We then shopped at HnM, which was lovely. I got some awesome purple skinny pants, and leg warmers. After that, we simply walked around the city...

then, we went to this huge building called the Prudential. It had a mall inside:

We ate there then decided to go home and hang out a bit before going to see Coraline. It was an amazing movie, which was very well directed and I loved it's gothic fantasy feel. Only problem, it was Valentines day, so the movie theater was soooooo crowded and I had to sit on the stairs on the side of the seats...lol

somehow we ended up in China Town after coming out of the movie theater...so we caught a cab and went home.

Again, we stayed up late and we watched the movie of the life of Celine Dion (actually quite interesting...)

Once again i fell asleep with city lights making me feel safe and happy.
