Boston Soundtrack

Lyrics here

I Know It's a sad song...but It was what was always playing while I was in Beautiful Boston.

Sometimes when I hear it, i feel the city lights

Boston-Day 3

My last day in Beautiful Boston...

I woke Up once again....with the city pouring into my window...it was bittersweet though

So we woke up...and it was the normal routine, we had a simple breakfast and planned to go to The Harvard campus :)

So we caught a bus...and it was the best ride ever. So many people of all sorts were on the bus

so we went down to the campus and I looked around and thought it was amazing....I would love to go there, but I'm going film School...

We walked around that part of the city for a while, and watched all the people, and shops...we then passed by a gift shop and I bought an Obama shirt for my mom, and a little Edgar Allan Poe finger puppet. haha! I love him to death! I also bought a BUNCH of chocolate...

We then caught a cab and made our way back home....time to get ready for the airport.

I walked through the airport with a heavy heart and a certain feeling of hate for my small town...getting on the plane was worse...I watched all the city lights from afar and my eyes watered...goodbye Boston...Goodbye city Lights and cars and people and magic...

I watched the beautiful city become teeny-tiny as I flew away.
The End

Boston-day 2

Finally, the long awaited Boston day 2 post!!

Once again, I woke up to the sounds and sights of the city!! With all the buildings and opens skys filled with possibilities!

Today, we went for brunch at this resteraunt...but I cannot seem to remember the name....It was fabulous and very old fashioned in a small little brick building!!

But, while we had to wait to get seated...we stopped by Johnny Cupcakes. I reccomend this shop to anyone who loves cupcakes...well cupcake clothing! The whole shop, was Shirts with cupcakes on them folded up on trays in fake ovens and freezers...as if they were cupcakes!

The story behind this awesome place, is a college boy named Johnny, who was bored and started making shirts with cupcakes on them. Everyone on campus LOVED them, so he sold them. Later, he started a shop: Johnny Cupcakes. Quite a lovely place

so, after a got a shirt that said "Boston" with icing and sprinkles on it...we went back into the resteraunt to enjoy a fantastic brunch!

After that, we simply walked around the beautiful city...We went on the subway!!! and we went shopping at Urban Outfitters (I love the many things you can fiind there) I bought a lovely dress

After walking around EVEN more...we found some interesting street shows! We then walked through a place with so much food, you could nit imagine.

then finally, we saw the harbour. AMAZING!!! Blue water...and on the other side...more building!! If I did live in Boston...I would walk there with my music each day :)
That night, we saw the Blue Man Group!! Amazing, I cant even begin to explain, just awesome music, comedy and unusual stunts...in a small little theater you find in the alley ways like the movies!!! I reccomend this show to EVERYONE. Most amazing show you will see...but I'll warn you, dont get dressed up, Its messy ;)

After the Fantastical show...we walked around China Town, which I thought was amazing! Untill we finally found a great chienese place (out of china town though, haha) and we enjoyed it vey much!

On the way home...I cherished the lights and noises of the beautiful city, because I knew, that would be my last night there...

ahhhhh...memories <3

Boston-day 1

After arriving, the flight attendant helped me to find Minnie (my moms friend who i was taying with) after we got my suitcase from baggage claim, we were off to catch a cab. I will never for get that taxi ride. thye whole time, all I could say was "omigosh!! Lights, Buildings...!!" It was especially beautiful to ride on a bridge and see all the builiding from afar and all the tiny little lights, just like in the movies! After getting to her apartment (which was lovely!) i took a shower, and made a nice bowl of hot ramen noodles while watching CSI. My bedroom had an amazing view, and I fell asleep with city lights illuminating the tiny room.

day 1

waking up was beautiful because i wasn't in my own room, I woke up to see a sunny morning with a real city outside. I had a lovely breakfast (Minnie's ommelettes are amazing!) then spent the morning getting dressed, and taking pictures and recording footage out my window.

outside my window

we decided to spend the day walking around the city and going shopping at HnM. The city was beautiful and filled with all sorts of people. We stopped by an old Church that was so beautiful. It was built probably a hundred years ago and had amazing acultures and courtyards.

We then shopped at HnM, which was lovely. I got some awesome purple skinny pants, and leg warmers. After that, we simply walked around the city...

then, we went to this huge building called the Prudential. It had a mall inside:

We ate there then decided to go home and hang out a bit before going to see Coraline. It was an amazing movie, which was very well directed and I loved it's gothic fantasy feel. Only problem, it was Valentines day, so the movie theater was soooooo crowded and I had to sit on the stairs on the side of the seats...lol

somehow we ended up in China Town after coming out of the movie theater...so we caught a cab and went home.

Again, we stayed up late and we watched the movie of the life of Celine Dion (actually quite interesting...)

Once again i fell asleep with city lights making me feel safe and happy.

Boston- Departure

Here I was...the airport. Only a week ago had I gotten the fanastic tickets for Boston (and my first flight alone) I was so excited, I couldn't contain myself. Once we had made it through the usual airport procedures, I was practically jumping. My brother was impatient, and my mom, going on and on about how much she would miss me. But none of that mattered, all I cared about was the lights and tall buildings, a city.
Finally it was time, they called for my flight and we made our way to the door leading to the tunnel which lead to the plane. After we clarified that I was a minor traveling alone, they gave me a paper that i wrapped around my wrist and the flight attendant told me she would help me board the plane. I hugged my mom tight and we said our goodbyes...then that was it, I was on my way to the plane. Once I had sat down I could already feel the rush of the city. "finally" I thought to myself as I heard the roar of the plane, and we were off.
