And I Watched The Night Come Over My Head...

The velvet sky swallows me up as I sleep...
And takes me to the places I see in my dreams.

Pyramids and Micheal Jackson

Hello! I have been absent for a while...And I'm sorry, I guess I was still too busy with this amazing City, Cairo!!

I'll miss it here when I leave :(

Apparently I was born right in front of the Nile River! And now I get to come back to where I was born after being gone for a whole year :) I feel as if the Nile itself flows through my veins...and it always will...
I've also been busy getting over the excitement of Sprinkle's blog post on me!! :)
She did an amazing job...better than I ever imagined!
I'm so glad she did this for me...

I just got done watching this amazing and inspiring movie!! Ahhhhh, so sweet! Makes me really want to go back and live in the 80s and dance to Micheal Jackson...

Hmmm...I think I'm gonna try and learn how to do the Thriller Dance! :) And as for Friday's music Video...I have been hooked on Regina Spekor lately!! And this song is just sooooo bittersweet and inspiring...and such a pretty music video...so artistic! :)

Well...that's it for now!! Hope You all had a fantastic week!! see ya sweethearts!

Well, I am very sorry people...Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland trailer will not Show anymore, they took it off the internet :(

But, sometime before the movie comes out, I will show you the outfit I'm wearing to see the movie!! Polyvore is amazing, right?
Well, I have been NEEDING to do a post on a few people who inspire me when it comes to style :) These people are:

Lady Gaga

Gotta love that bow ;) She also talked about How difficult it was to become famous and how hard she worked just to get her songs played...look how big she is now!

Katy Perry
LOVE her 40's pin-up girl style!! also, obsessed with her song Waking Up In Vegas

Kate Nash

My favorite by far...I love all her dresses (never saw her wearing pants, right?) and all the sweet prints on them, love her hair, and i LOVE her music :) :) by the way, she has a new album coming out later this year! Can't wait!

And, today is Friday, which means I will post a music video i LOVE
such a pretty and sweet video! so inspiring and real...and Chicago is beautiful...

Being Indie and loving everything!!

"There's a house across the river but alas I cannot swimAnd a garden of such beauty that the flowers seem to grinThere's a house across the river but alas I cannot swimI'll live my life regretting that I never jumped in"

-Alas I Cannot Swim (by Laura Marling)

one of the many songs I listened to while having my little frenzy of listening to lovely, unique guitar music in my garage :)

oh, what an Indie day I had! First I woke up and watched Nick And Norah's Infinite Playlist. Loved it!!! My fave was Norah's best friend, Caroline as well as the dudes in the van, especially the asian one (forgot his name...hehe)

then i had to clean up my room, whic took forever :P

then, I had my friend Samantha over (she lives in my neighborhood) and we ate Cheerios and Ramen Noodles while watching family guy

After she left, i cleaned out my drawer and gathered up my stuff and went to my garage and danced around to Laura Marling, Noah And The Whale, and Lenka
Then me, my mom, and my brother walked to this Mexican place by my house and had a lovely dinner :)
I must say it was a fantastic end to a fantastic weekend, especially after seeing Fall Out Boy on friday!! We drove 3 hours and the concert was amazing! I really rocked out, and I think Pete Wentz looked at me once or twice when I jumped on top of this seat and screamed. haha
I seriously cried when they came on stage, it was a dream come true.
well, i must go get ready for bed now, so I'll leave you with some pictures of my scrap book and my bulliten board, just a couple of the things that inspire me :)

ps- Boston-Day 2 will be the next post!! <3
